How do I throw a scarf party?
I have a small business that sells ladies accessories, handbags and scarves. I was making a sale the other day, and the lady asked me if I threw scarf parties. I said, well I can! So she wants to hold it at her house and she has bunch of friends coming. I have no idea on the party etiquette, my sister told me you have to have a gift for the hostess, and give away and item in a raffle. I am clueless as to how to do this, please could you help me. Have you ever been to a purse party. Those are very common, this is the same just with scarves!
Just think of it as any other opportunity to sell your product. If you have ever been to a candle party or a tupperware party, think of what they did there. I would maybe bring some food, get a nice present for the hostess like you said. Something that thanks her for holding the party at her house. A raffle is a good idea also. Maybe raffle off one of your products, that way it ties into your business.
A good party needs some icebreakers. Some of the women may already know each other, but I'm sure there are a few who don't. Some good icebreaker games will help to make everyone more comfortable, and let you know the customers better.
